This Privacy Policy explains how TKPost YQ handles information when an authorized user connects a TikTok account and requests a video draft transfer.
1. Information we process
- TikTok account data: open ID, display name, avatar, granted scopes, and authorization status returned by TikTok.
- Authorization credentials: access and refresh tokens, token expiry times, and related security metadata.
- Media and task data: videos selected for transfer, file metadata, TikTok publish or upload identifiers, processing status, timestamps, and error information.
- Technical data: server and security logs such as IP address, browser information, request time, and diagnostic events.
2. How we use information
We process this information to authenticate authorized accounts, transfer requested media through TikTok's official APIs, refresh authorization, display task status, secure and troubleshoot the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not use connected-account data for unrelated advertising and we do not sell personal information.
3. Legal basis and user direction
We process account and media data at the direction of authorized users to provide the requested service, based on consent, performance of the service agreement, legitimate security interests, and applicable legal obligations as relevant.
4. Sharing
Information may be shared with TikTok to provide authentication and media transfer, with hosting and security providers acting on our behalf, or with authorities when legally required. These providers process information only as necessary to perform their services or comply with law.
5. Storage and security
Authorization tokens are stored server-side and encrypted at rest. We use access controls, HTTPS, restricted network ports, and operational safeguards appropriate to the service. No security method is completely risk-free.
6. Retention
We retain account credentials while the account remains connected and as needed to provide the service. Upload records and diagnostic logs are retained only as reasonably necessary for operations, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Uploaded working files may be deleted after transfer or when no longer required. Backup copies may persist for a limited period.
7. Your choices and rights
You may revoke the app's TikTok permissions through TikTok, stop using the service, or request access, correction, deletion, or other applicable privacy rights by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the connected account. Revocation prevents new API actions but does not automatically remove content already delivered to or published on TikTok.
8. International processing
The service may process data in Singapore and other locations used by TikTok or our infrastructure providers. Where required, we apply appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.
9. Children's privacy
The service is intended for authorized business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through this service.
10. Updates
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service, law, or platform requirements. The effective date above identifies the current version.
